Will I be able to access my domain name with or without the WWW?
Yes. You will be able to access your domain name with or without the WWW in front. For example, you could access the domain name "mydomain.com" by going to "www.mydomain.com" as well as "mydomain.com".

Can I check domain name availability?
Yes. You can check domain availability directly from our web site. You can also check domain detailed information using our whois system.

Does PALAZON handle domain registration?
Yes, for the most common top-level domains. We currently register domains for .com, .net, .org, .biz, and .info. PALAZON will register new domain names for you. If you have an existing domain, upon receiving your email request, we will attempt to make the necessary changes in order to switch your domain so that it uses our name servers. Once the transfer is announced "completed", there is generally a 72 hour propagation period where visitors should be able to go to either site. At the end of the 72 hours you should contact the previous host to have them delete the old domain from their records and update their DNS records. If you use this same provider for your Internet access you will not be able to access your domain site at PALAZON until they update their DNS records. During the propagation period, persons accessing your site will be going to both sites until all are accessing the new site.

Can I transfer my existing domain name to PALAZON?
Yes. When you place your order using our online order form, be sure to specify that you are requesting a transfer and NOT a new domain. You should keep the hosting service at the present location while waiting for the Domain Name Registrar to complete the transfer. We will provide you with an IP address so you can upload your site on our server. All email and web pages will still be accessed from the current site until the domain is pointing to our servers.

How long does it take before my domain name is active?
We get your account setup generally within 12 hours. Once the account is setup we email you your information so you can start uploading/publishing your site.

How much is the Domain Name Registration fee?

Can multiple domains point to the same HTML files?
In general, if you have more than one domain account at PALAZON we can point each domain address to the same HTML files. There is a $30.00 annual fee to mirror sites. This includes full email capabilities that mirror the email addresses setup for the primary domain name.

What is a Virtual Server?
A virtual server means that instead of you maintaining expensive equipment, you simply rent your web space from PALAZON. You can have your own www.yourdomain.com which gives you complete internet presence. PALAZON can help register your own domain name which will become your unique address on the World Wide Web. Your clients/customers will never know you are renting web space. With a virtual server you can receive email addressed to yourname@yourdomain.com.

Does PALAZON offer dial-up internet access?
No. At this time PALAZON does not offer internet access so that we may concentrate on our web hosting solutions.

How do I transfer files to my web site?
You can publish to your website directly with a web design tool such as FrontPage, Dreamweaver, or similar web design tools.

Will I have unlimited access to update my pages?
You have unlimited access via FTP 24-hours a day. As such, you can create and maintain your web pages on your own computer and upload files to your web site at your leisure.

Can I use my account for commercial purposes?
Yes. You can use your account for commercial purposes. The World Wide Web has become a most efficient and cost-effective means of making information, products and services available to the users of the internet community. With a PALAZON Virtual Server, secure processing is available FREE, which provides an environment whereby payment information (such as a credit card number) or confidential information (such as a custom form) can be transmitted from web browser to web server in an encrypted mode

What contract and payment terms are available?
Currently we only offer annual billing arrangements. We accept PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express for international order, and we also accept cheque or bank draft from Singapore local banks.

How long does it take to set up a new account ?
New orders are configured within 24 hours, generally much quicker. Once an account is set up an activation notice will be sent to you via email including the instructions of FTP, Email and Control Pannel.
